I'm still searching...

I've still been on the search for someone to revamp my blog. I know what I want done, but I don't know how to do it... yet. I've been thinking of switching to WordPress...I'm still not certain about that. There are other options that I have been considering. For starters, there is a fabulous book that has caught my attention. Reading this book leads me to believe that I could do some things for my blog all on my own...so, there's that option. For now, I'm thinking that I need to just continue on this journey with my blog in it's current state. I don't want to leave this Bloggy World...I rather enjoying taking the time to sit down and share with y'all. The only thing that's been holding me back is that I really wanted a change for my blog...a change for the better. I'm just going to continue on the way things are and make the best of what I've got...Thanks for listening. If y'all have any thoughts on WordPress, some DIY tips, or anything of that sort, don't hesitate to let me know. ♥

DIY Valentine Box

We were **so** excited to make our own Valentine boxes this year. It all started with a baby wipe box:

            I opened it up and cut out the part that you pull the wipes through:

 We measured the sides and cut-out some construction paper:

We glued the construction paper to the sides of the box:

 We added some Valentine stickers and a name label:

The box was perfect for stuffing with Valentines:

 

We had a lot of fun making this!

Mini Heart Cheesecakes

We don't do anything big for Valentine's Day. We get each other a little something and I make my husband's snacks for work a little more special by adding heart-shaped appetizers. We'll have nice meals as a family that day, including heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast, and I'm finding a few more ideas this year, (such as heart-shaped raviloi.) We might watch a movie together. I saw and made this love potion for our drink last year, so I'll surely be doing that again. Between now and then, I've been searching the Internet for some other ideas, and having fun pinning them on Pinterest. I found these delicious little cuties on thehappierhomemaker.com

December 2012 Bloggy Moms Blog Hop
