

Basic White Bread
Water- 1 1/2 cup + 1 tsp.
Oil- 2 Tbsp.
Salt- 2 tsp.
Sugar- 3 Tbsp.
Dried Milk Powder- 2 Tbsp.
Flour- 4 1/2 cups
Active dry Yeast- 2 tsp.
Place the ingredients into your bread pan in the order they are listed. Put the pan in your Bread Maker and follow the instructions on your model for Basic White Bread.
* Wait thirty minutes before slicing your bread. (You'll be glad you did.) I slice my bread long ways, down the middle. Then, I slice it as you would normally slice bread.
I agree completely. Homemade bread is tasty and filling. It is my favorite thing to do. I have a link on my blog to www.8-muddyboots.blogspot.com and Sarah has a great recipe for Grandmother's Bread that we make daily. It is a very versitile bread.

I got a bread maker for Christmas and I have not bought any bread since. I love it!!! We also cook lots o mexican food around here so I hope you'll come back!
