It's time for the MilSpouse Friday Fill-In. I am linking up with Wife of a Sailor. It's a great way for Military Spouses to get to visit each others blogs and get to know about each other. Each week Wife of a Sailor posts five questions for us to answer. We post them on our blog, and then go lnk-up to Wife of a Sailor's blog. Here are the five questions, and my answers this week:
1)How do you spend your deployment money, do you save, pay off bills or enjoy the extra money while it is there to buy the things you do not normally have? (from Troop Petrie)
I always save the extra money that we occur during deployments. We act as if that money is not even there. Of course, we have always lived off the same amount of money we made going into the military. With each advancement, or pay increase, we still live the same as we always have.
2)If you could relive one occasion or moment, what would it be? (from Currently On Land)
If I could relive one occasion or moment, it would be my wedding day. In fact, we are going to renew our wedding vows, and have a blessing of our marriage, in the not-so-distant future.
*not-so-distant future is a word that my husband brought to our relationship. While we were dating, everytime I would "nag" him about when something is going to happen, he would always promise me that it would happen in the not-so-distant future.* : )
3)What’s the worst job you ever had and if it was so bad why did you take it? (from Faith and Deploying) The worst job I ever had was waiting tables at an authentic Italian restaurant. I took the job because I was paying my way through college, and I made fantastic tips. Unfortunately, the job also came with many unwanted advances from a few of the employees who thought I couldn't resist an Italian man, and that every woman would jump at the chance to run away to Italy with them.
4)If you could play any character on TV, who would you be? (from Many Waters) I would be Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) from CSI.
5)If you could become the world’s expert in something, what would it be? (from Army of Two) If I could become the world's expert in something I would be the "World's Expert Jack-of-All-Trades."
