MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

It's time for the MilSpouse Friday Fill-In. I am linking up with Wife of a Sailor. It's a great way for Military Spouses to visit each others blogs and get to know about each other. Each week Wife of a Sailor posts five questions for us to answer. We post them on our blog, and then go link-up to Wife of a Sailor's blog. Here are the five questions, and my answers this week:

1) What are you looking forward to most in 2011? from Jessica Lynn Writes Right this second I am looking forward to my Sailor's safe return home.

2)What is something random you do on a boring night when your significant other is away? from Lovin Ma Soldier I do many random things when my Sailor is away...one of the most boring things I do is shut my bedroom door, and cover my legs in Veet (a cream hair remover.) Then, I watch some TV while I wait out my time before rinsing in the shower. Yep, that's pretty boring.

3)What has been your greatest adventure as a MilSpouse? from Misadventures of An Army Momma It's hard to choose one greatest adventure...we've seen many wonderful things and had many great times together...so, I think that's the greatest part of the adventure...having it together.

4)What is the ugliest fashion trend you ever bought into (I’d like to make fun of you, so can you please provide a picture as well)? from More Than An Army Wife Well, I'm not sure I have a picture...actually, I should, so I'll have to look for one...but, right off the top of my head I'm going with penny rolled britches high enough to display my thick slouchy socks...good times...good times. : )

5)What was the high point of last month? The easy answer to this would be Christmas...yes, as far ago as it seems, we just had Christmas last month. The special thing about my Christmas is simple. My Sailor had duty on Christmas. He was suppose to be gone all day, but the guys worked it out so that he was allowed to go in that evening for duty. This meant that we were able to have Christmas dinner together and enjoy each other's company much longer than expected. To top this off, we were enjoying relaxing and spending time together so much that we still didn't open all our presents on Christmas. My parents ended up spending an extra night at our house and we had Christmas part 2 the next day.

  1. I didn't know your hubby had deployed again. Boo! I hope it flies by for you both.

  2. Thank you! You are so sweet! ☺
